The ProAV1 provides you with the ability to connect almost any audio source to a PA system, while automatically summing stereo sources to mono to preserve channels and simplify the audio setup. Inputs are available via 1/4", RCA, 3.5mm stereo, and line-level XLR connections, giving you the ability to easily connect to smartphones, tablets, laptops, CD players, or even a +4dB line level output from a console or recording interface. Transformer isolation helps eliminate noise while maintaining a linear frequency response, and a mono balanced XLR output allows you to feed a recording interface or a PA system.

Stemming from the industry standard Radial JDI™, the JD6 incorporates six premium Jensen transformers with extra RF filtering to ensure optimal signal transfer with the minimal noise, phase shift, or distortion. These are also able to withstand extreme signal levels, which makes the JD6 particularly effective when managing high-output active devices such as digital pianos that will often overload most direct boxes or preamps. Each JD6 channel is equipped with a rear-mounted ¼" instrument input and thru-put for the artist's amp plus a balanced XLR output to feed the mixing desk, while Channels 1 and 2 include front panel connectors that switch the input as soon as a cable is inserted for improved efficiency in the studio.

The StageBug SB5W is a passive stereo direct box made to fit in a standard North American single-gang electrical wall plate, providing AV integrators with an effective means of connecting an unbalanced audio source such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet to a balanced audio system.

The StageBug SB5W provides a permanently mounted interface to connect consumer audio devices with installed pro audio systems. Front panel 3.5mm TRS and RCA connectors are provided for any stereo source and a fully variable level control makes volume adjustments easy. Inside, the SB5W employs dual transformers that convert the inputs to a low impedance balanced signal, and eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. Set & forget ground lift and mono switches are also included to further reduce noise and to sum the left and right channels together if needed. The outputs of the SB5W feature screw terminals with tie down points for tie-wraps to make installation fast, efficient and permanent.

The Radial Stage Bug SB-5 is a compact stereo direct box designed to accommodate laptop computers, tablets and other consumer audio products when amplifying the signal through a PA system.

The passive design begins with an integrated input cable that connects from the headphone out via a flexible 1.5m (5') cable that is terminated with a standard 3.5mm (1/8") stereo connector.

The cable is secured via a clamping strain relief and is wrapped using the sidewinder cleat for easy storage. This of course eliminates having to locate a cable making it easier to deploy in fast paced work environments. Inside, the signal is sent to a pair of custom wound transformers where the impedance is lowered and the signal is balanced for long cable runs - upwards to 100 meters (300').

Transformers further benefit by isolating the computer from the PA system to help eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops. This is augmented with a ground lift switch to further reduce ground contamination.

A choice of output connectors is available including a stereo set of ¼" TRS jacks for full stereo operation or an XLR out that automatically sums the left-right program material to mono.

This can save valuable channels on the PA system and makes setup easier in situations where full stereo reproduction is not required.

A -15dB input pad may be engaged to reduce sensitivity and enable extra high output sources to be connected without distortion.

The Radial StageBug SB-2 Passive is a high-performance direct box made for players who are on the move! Made to fit inside of a guitar case, the SB-2 is ultra compact yet is feature-packed to ensure great performance on any stage.

The compact design begins with a ¼" input and thru-put to feed the on-stage amp. This connects to the custom made Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer which performs the impedance matching and balances the signal.

When using extra high output instruments, a -15dB pad can be inserted into the signal path. This enables the SB-2 to be used with active basses and digital pianos that often tend to overload the input side of the interface.

An innovative stereo-to-mono merge function provides a convenient way to connect stereo keyboards and computers without having to reset the source for mono operation, saving time and input channels on the PA. The SB-2 output features an XLR wired to the AES standard with pin-2 hot.

Once connected, the SB-2 delivers a smooth warm sound reminiscent of older vintage gear. The Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer is magical in its ability to handle extreme signal levels with a natural compression that is pleasing to the ears.

The transformer also helps eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops by isolating the input from the output. This is augmented with a ground lift switch that lifts pin-1 on the XLR for quiet, professional results.

The Radial ProD2 is a compact stereo direct box developed specifically to address the needs and challenges of interfacing a stereo keyboard to a professional audio system. This passive DI features two independent channels with separate inputs and thru-puts for the artist’s stage amp and two fully isolated outputs for the PA system.

At the heart of the design are two high performance Eclipse ET-DB2 transformers. These deliver 20Hz to 20kHz performance with less than 1.5dB deviation above 18kHz and are able to withstand tremendous signal levels without distortion. Unlike active circuits that overload when the signal exceeds the rail voltage, transformers saturate. Professional performance

The ProD8 features up to 8 direct box outputs in a single 1RU rack space for professional touring, with dual ¼" inputs on each channel to incorporate a backup system or connect up to 16 channels of audio at once. A ¼" TRS effects insert jack on each channel allows for connection to various effects devices while adding greater routing options, while a thru-put jack delivers a direct feed to the artist's playback system. The front panel features isolated XLRs for balanced low-noise outputs, each equipped with ground lift and 180° polarity reverse switches.

Transformer driven for greater headroom & low noise

The engine inside the ProD8 is a custom wound Eclipse ET-DB2 transformer that performs both the impedance matching and balancing. Linear from 20Hz to 20kHz, it is able to withstand the extreme dynamics common with today's digital keyboards. Unlike active circuits that overload and square wave when the rail voltage is exceeded, transformers saturate. This means that as the signal increases, the ProD8 naturally rounds out the tone producing a warm Bessel curve reminiscent of the very best vintage audio gear. The other significant advantage to this passive design is 100% galvanic isolation between the source and destination, which eliminates hum and buzz caused by ground loops.

Adaptable Configuration

To enhance setup options, the Radial ProD8 is equipped with reversible rack ears. This handy feature allows the system tech to position the inputs on the front of the rack when interfacing with external keyboards or have them inside if the setup is predominantly equipped with rack modules.

Radial JDI Duplex is a high performance dual-channel direct box that is designed to provide maximum flexibility for the audio engineer in the most demanding applications.
