Radial JDX Direct Drive Guitar amp simulator
R800 1404 00
JDX Direct-Drive Amp Simulator & DI Box
Guitar Amp Simulator & DI Box
The JDX Direct-Drive is a unique and powerful device that emulates the sound of a guitar amplifier while doubling as a direct box, providing a realistic amp sound that allows you to play a gig without needing an amp on stage.
  • Guitar amp simulator for pedalboards
  • Eliminates need to bring an amp to the gig
  • 4 x 12 half-stack & open back combo tones
  • Employs Radial’s popular JDX tone shaping
Classic amp tones in a compact pedal
The Direct-Drive is an amp simulator designed for your pedalboard, providing a realistic amp tone that can be connected directly to the PA system. Three amplifier voicing options are provided: the first is the popular JDX tone which simulates the sound of an SM57 microphone on a 4x12 cabinet. The second setting is similar in character to a British tube head amplifier, while the remaining tone is modeled after a clean twin combo amp. With three classic voicings available, the Direct-Drive provides a natural amp tone through the PA system and consistency from night to night.
Radial JDX 48 Phantom
R800 1402 00
Radial JDX Guitar Amp Direct Box
The JDX 48™ is a direct box designed to capture the sound of an electric guitar amplifier by connecting between the amp head and the speaker cabinet, providing a balanced feed for the PA system that sounds like a well-placed microphone on your amp.
  • Capture the sound of your amplifier through a direct box
  • Delivers consistent tone across every performance
  • Works equally well on electric guitar and bass
  • Can be powered from 48V phantom or DC supply
Deliver your amp's tone through the PA
The JDX 48 makes it easy to get a consistent and natural amplifier tone through the PA system night after night, by taking a feed directly from your amplifier and employing Radial's popular JDX speaker emulation that produces an effect similar to placing a dynamic microphone in front of a 4x12 half stack cabinet. This gives you a more manageable sound onstage for gigs where feedback is an issue, or if mic'ing your amp isn't an option. For artists that employ in-ear monitoring systems, the JDX 48 provides consistent tone each night in the monitor mix for shorter setup times and a more comfortable audio feed for the artist.
Dual powering options
The JDX 48 can be powered using 48V phantom from the mixing console, for a cleaner setup on stage that eliminates the need to carry a power supply to the gig. However, for times when phantom power may not be available, the JDX 48 also ships with a separate DC power supply - giving you a redundant powering option so you never have to perform without your JDX.
Radial Headload Prodigy
R800 7068 00
Headload Prodigy Combination Load Box & DI
The Headload Prodigy™ is a combination load box and DI that lets you drive your guitar amp at a higher gain in order to maximize the tone, yet produce a lower stage volume when needed.
  • Load box with selectable output levels or complete attenuation
  • Drive your amp hard for the best tone
  • Can handle up to 100 watts RMS
  • Balanced JDX direct out feeds the PA or a recording interface
  • Built-in headphone amp for practicing
Sound loud, play quiet
With the Headload Prodigy, you can crank your amp to the sweet spot while keeping output levels in check, allowing you to retain your optimal tone when performing, recording and practicing. The Prodigy can pass 25%, 50% or 100% of the signal from the amp head to the speaker cabinet, or it can also be used without a speaker cabinet for completely silent recording. This is particularly useful in small venues where the speaker cabinet on stage may conflict with the sound in the room, and it's also great for silent recording where you want to take advantage of 'high power' amp distortion without upsetting the neighbours. A balanced DI output features Radial's popular JDX Reactor circuit, which emulates the tone of a 4x12 half stack for a realistic and consistent tone through the PA or when connected to a recording interface.

Radial Headload
R800 7058 00
Radial Headload Guitar Amp Load Box
The Headload™ is a power attenuator that connects between your amplifier and speaker to capture the dynamics and warmth of your amp at low, neighbour-friendly volumes.
  • Combination load box and DI with speaker emulation
  • Available in 4, 8, or 16 Ohms
  • Can handle up to 130 watts RMS (180 peak)
  • Attenuate down to 1% of total power
Sound Loud, Play Quiet!
Featuring two built-in JDX amp DIs—one pre-EQ and one post-EQ—the Headload eliminates the need to use a microphone to capture the sound from your amplifier. Should you decide to combine the DI signal with a microphone, the Headload is augmented with a built-in Radial Phazer to time-align the two signals to create massive tones. The Headload uses a 6-position rotary switch to set the desired power reduction from unaltered all the way down to complete silence. When the output is completely soaked, the high-quality headphone amplifier can be used for silent 3:00AM practicing.

Radial Cab-Link Cabinet Merger
R800 7088 00
Cab-Link Passive Speaker Cabinet Merger
Passive Speaker Cabinet Merger
The Cab-Link™ provides a simple and compact solution for players who have a single speaker output on their amplifier but want to connect to two cabinets simultaneously.
  • Connect one amplifier output to two speaker cabinets
  • Can use in series or parallel configuration
  • Compact and completely passive, no need for power
  • Additional line output with level control
The simple way to connect two cabinets to your amp
Whether you want to wire up your cabinets in series or in a parallel configuration, the Cab-Link makes things easy. Simply connect two speaker cables from the Cab-Link outputs to each of your cabinets, and a third speaker cable from the output of the amp head to either the series or the parallel input. The Cab-Link reconfigures automatically depending on which input is used, and a handy guide on the top of the unit lets you know which input should be used to best match the impedance between your amp and the cabinets. A line output with a level control provides additional functionality and can be used to feed the input of another amplifier or an effects unit.
