DPA 6061 CORE Subminiature Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone, Loud SPL
The DPA 6061 CORE Subminiature Lavalier Microphone is just three millimetres in diameter – two millimetres smaller than DPA’s existing 4000 series of miniature microphones. Despite its unobtrusive size, it’s exceptionally clear, consistent and highly durable.
- Amazingly tiny 3mm capsules
- CORE by DPA technology
- Renowned DPA sound
The DPA CORE 6061 Subminiature Lavalier Microphone can handle SPL up to 144 dB peak before clipping, making it ideally suited for use on very loud sound sources, such as some instruments and loud human voices.
DPA have taken their new CORE by DPA technology that reduces distortion and increases dynamic range and shrunk it down to fit into the DPA 6061’s 3mm (.12 in) subminiature Microphone capsule, meaning you don’t have to compromise on sound to focus on the size and aesthetics.
Product Description
The DPA 6061 (Loud SPL) is an omnidirectional microphone that carries a frequency range of 20 Hz – 20 kHz and has a noise floor of only 26 dB(A). This Microphone can handle very loud sound source and is typically used as a hidden head mounted Microphone in theatre applications.
This subminiature Microphone outperforms all other mics in their class with a lower noise floor than any other 3 mm capsule on the market.
Stainless steel construction makes the mics in the 6000 series extremely durable. They can tolerate high temperatures and they’re resilient against impacts and resistant to abrasion. The subminiature mics use the same size cable as on DPA’s 5 mm mics. The cables are extremely durable, do not become entangled and withstand rough pulls.
All CORE by DPA Microphones are now IP58 Rated for water and dust ingress.
