Put yourself in control of the mix
The KL-8 is a powerful mixing station created with keyboard pros in mind, with a number of features designed specifically to streamline and enhance any keyboard setup. You can connect up to four keyboards in mono or stereo, with level controls, aux sends, and LED indicators for each. A stereo aux send/receive is available to feed rackmount reverbs and delays and effects pedals, or it can be used as an additional input for a fifth keyboard. MIDI and USB connections make it easy to control a laptop soft-synth, utilizing high quality 24bit/192kHz digital audio converters. The KL-8 also features multiple output options, with transformer-isolated XLR main outputs to feed the PA, monitor outputs for a set of speakers on stage, and dual headphone outputs for local monitoring and testing.
Redundant USB inputs
When you can't afford to have a break in the performance due to laptop failure, the KL-8 allows you to set up redundant laptop systems and seamlessly transition from one to another. A secondary USB input on the KL-8 allows you to keep your backup laptop at the ready - when failure occurs simply hit the USB select switch on the front panel or use the optional JR-1L remote footswitch to instantly switch to the backup system.
Silent cueing and monitoring via headphones
A built in headphone amp and dual 1/4" TRS outputs give you the option to practice and record silently, or cue up individual inputs on stage without feeding signal out to the audience over the PA system. Each input channel on the KL-8 is accompanied by a Cue switch that will remove that input from the main and monitor outputs and reroute it directly to the headphones, so you can easily adjust patch settings and test playback over USB without affecting the performance.

Radial StageBug SB-7 Ear Muff
R800 0170 00
Radial StageBug SB-7 Earmuff Headphone Silencer
The Radial StageBug SB-7 Earmuff is a compact device that solves the problem by enabling the artist to turn off one of the phones, thus eliminating the bleed problem altogether.
  • Turns off one side of headphones to stop bleed
  • Artist can hear both playback and instrument
  • Level control enables artist to set ideal volume
  • Completely passive, does not require power
When overdubbing in an orchestral setting, the artist is usually listening to a pre-recorded track while playing his or her part of the score. To better hear the pitch and tonality of the instrument, the artist will often remove one side of the headphones by pulling it away from one ear. In doing so, the headphone level is increased to compensate and this in turn, causes sound from the open phone to bleed into the recording microphone, contaminating the mix. This is a common problem when recording violins, flutes and other orchestral instruments.
The design begins with a ¼” stereo TRS input on one side that accepts a standard headphone mix along with a level control. On the output side, a choice of standard ¼” headphone or 3.5mm (1/8″) ear bud outputs provide instant connectivity without the need of a special adaptor. A mono switch enables the artist to sum the left-right stereo playback track to mono so that all instruments are routed to both sides of the headphones. Then, depressing the ‘off’ switch mutes the left ear of the headphones to eliminate bleed while leaving the right side unaffected. One simply adjusts the on-board level control to suit. Because the SB-7 Earmuff is completely passive, no power is needed nor will it introduce any distortion or artefact into the signal path. Plug it in and it is basically ready to go.
Compact, easy to use and affordable, the Radial StageBug SB-7 Earmuff provides a simple, yet elegant solution to a long standing problem.

Radial StageBug SB-15 Signal Buffer & 9V to 15V converter
The Stagebug SB-15™ is a class-A signal buffer designed to sit at the beginning of the signal chain and drive multiple pedals without added noise or signal loss. It also converts two 9V power outputs to a 15V supply as an alternative way to power Radial and Tonebone 15V products.
  • 100% discrete class-A signal buffer
  • Drag control load correction for natural tone
  • Drives pedal chains up to 15 meters (50ft)
  • Converts two 9V supplies to 15V output
Drive pedal chains with ease
The SB-15 is an ultra-compact signal buffer that is pedalboard friendly, with transparent operation that maintains the natural tone of your instrument. Unlike many audio designs that employ ICs or integrated circuits to buffer the signal, the 100% discrete class-A design of the SB-15 reduces the need for phase-cancelling negative feedback produces a more natural and pleasing tone. This is complimented by a Drag control load correction circuit to replicate the tone and feel as if connected directly to the amplifier. Once buffered, the signal is less susceptible to hum and buzz caused by radio interference and electromagnetic fields, and is then able to drive multiple pedals distances of 15 meters (50') without noise.

Radial Decoder
R800 1415 00
  • Quick and easy mid/side recording without a mixer
  • Three ultra-quiet built-in mic preamp
  • Pre-mixed stereo outputs
  • Line level operation for use with pre-recorded tracks
The Radial Decoder is a microphone preamp and mid/side stereo matrix that allows the user to easily create M/S recordings without having to re-configure a recording console. Featuring built-in mic pre’s with phantom power and independent level control, the Decoder automatically combines the signals to a stereo output using the sum-difference method for spectacular stereo imaging that translates well to mono for broadcast.
The Decoder begins with three ultra-quiet microphone preamps. The mic/line input-1 is assigned to the MID or direct microphone, while mic/line input-2a is assigned to the SIDE microphone. A link button automatically duplicates and pans the signal and flips the phase for a traditional M/S stereo image when used with figure-8 microphones. Mic/line input-2b allows the Decoder to be used with a pair of cardioid microphones rather than a figure-8. This opens up the door for a variety of microphones and different spacing techniques to be employed for ultimate convenience and creativity. The Decoder can also be switched to +4dBu line level for Reamping™ pre-recorded material during mix-down. Simply record a SIDE microphone while tracking and bounce to a stereo M/S image later.
As the Decoder is intended for use in the studio or in the field, the chassis is built out of heavy duty 14-gauge steel. The internal I-beam frame and book-end construction prevents premature damage to internal circuitry and protects knobs and switches from impact. A full bottom no-slip pad provides electrical insulation and mechanical isolation to reduce mishap. The chassis can also be rack- mounted on its own or with other Radial products using an optional rack kit.
The Decoder… mid/side recording has never been so easy!
